KMG Worldwide Public Relations Announces Launch of KMGLearn
Online Professional Development Seminars Target Small Business Owners
on a Budget
NEW YORK (Business Wire EON) April 24, 2008 --
KMG Worldwide Public Relations announced today the launch of KMGLearn,
an online professional development seminar series for small business
owners.
The first class in the series, DIY PR, will be held at Noon ET Monday,
May 5 and will explore basic concepts in today’s
media relations environment.
“Marketing and public relations activities don’t
stop because the economy is soft,” said KMG
Worldwide Principal & Founder Jennifer Kronstain. “What
we’re finding, as we talk to clients and
prospective clients, is that small business owners want to continue
these activities but are worried about the short-term pinch. This
seminar series will teach them how to kick-start and maintain PR efforts
for their company during this time with very little risk.”
Attendees will leave the interactive online workshop with the following:
* A three-month workplan
* Boilerplate descriptor for your company
* Three key messages that you want to get out to your target
verticals immediately
* Strategies for reaching the top five journalists covering areas
that benefit your business
* Three tips on picking the PR firm that's right for you
* An understanding of how to interact with the media
* An understanding of the nuances of managing reporters and analysts
* An understanding of the value that PR can add for your sales staff
The seminar will run for one hour and be conducted online for U.S. and
international attendees. General admission is $500.
