Steven Kotok Named General Manager of THE WEEK Magazine

NEW YORK (Business Wire EON) August 29, 2007 -- THE WEEK (www.theweekmagazine.com), Americas fastest growing news and opinion magazine, has appointed Steven Kotok as general manager. Based in New York City, he will oversee The Weeks publishing operations including editorial, circulation, advertising and marketing.

We look forward to his continued initiatives to grow the publication and The Week brand.
Kotok is a 12-year Dennis Publishing veteran, having worked on the Maxim Magazine launch in 1996 and 1997 as Dennis Publishing's Business Manager. He then helped launch Dennis Interactive as its Executive Producer, managing the team that produced award-winning Web sites and interactive projects for clients such as Mercedes-Benz and Art.com.

Kotok joined The Week six months after its 2001 launch as Business & Circulation Director, where he grew circulation 400 percent in five years to 500,000 paid subscribers. He graduated from Macalester College in Minnesota with a major in Economics.

"Steven's vast breadth of publishing experience -- from overseeing the magazine creative process to planning and executing circulation, marketing and internet strategies, makes him the absolutely ideal person to lead The Week," said Dennis Publishing CEO & President Stephen Colvin. "We look forward to his continued initiatives to grow the publication and The Week brand."
