Monster Career Ad Network Enhanced to Offer Greater Ease of Use;
Expands to Canadian Market
One year after launching, Career Ad Network shows compelling metrics
for employers across industries
CHICAGO & MAYNARD, Mass. (Business Wire EON) June 23, 2008 --
At the 2008 Annual SHRM Conference, Monster®
today announced availability of a self-service capability that will make
using its unique Career
Ad Network (CAN) an easier, more automated experience. Now also
available via Monster’s self-service eCommerce
channel, CAN helps employers target optimal talent by transforming
traditional job postings into dynamic ads across diverse affiliated
network websites, reaching a broader set of potential candidates where
they live and transact online. In addition, stemming from strong success
in the U.S., CAN will soon be available to Canadian-based employers.
Monster is the leading global online careers and recruitment resource
and flagship brand of Monster
Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNST).
“Career Ad Network allows employers to cast a
wider net by offering the advantage of reaching consumers across the
web, automatically transforming Monster job ads into banner ads and
intelligently targeting them to relevant candidates,”
said Darko Dejanovic, Global CIO and Head of Product for Monster. “It’s
now even easier to harness the power of this tool as employers can
simply opt-in with just a click of a button.”
Employers across a wide variety of industries, including IT, retail,
finance and food services have seen compelling results utilizing CAN. On
average when compared to basic job postings, companies using CAN for 30
days have seen:*
-
50 percent more job views;
-
100 percent more applicants; and
-
100 percent more job response clicks.
* Monster Internal Data 2008
Launched by Monster in the spring of 2007, CAN is capable of dynamic
targeting, driven by a sophisticated set of algorithms that factor in
job title, occupational category and location, among other key matching
factors. Employers can track value with the ability to monitor the
number of job views and job response.
“The power of CAN is not only realized in
attracting passive candidates, but in employer branding as well,”
added Dejanovic. “By turning job ads into
relevant, targeted banner ads placed throughout the web, employers
further extend their brand positioning with consumers.”
Presence at SHRM 2008
