Rhein Medall Communities Wins Twelve 2008 MAME Awards, including Developer of the Year

The Palisades, Rhein Medalls Award-Winning Master-Planned Golf Community Above Lake Wylie, wins Community of the Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Business Wire EON) April 10, 2008 -- Rhein Medall Communities, North Carolinas premier residential land developer, won 12 awards at the 2008 Home Builders Association of Charlotte MAME Awards on March 29 11 Gold awards and one Silver including the Gold award for Developer of the Year. This is the third year in a row that Rhein Medall Communities has won the regions top honor for residential land development. Rhein Medall was also named Charlottes Developer of the Year in 2005 and 2006.

Charlotte, which is the center of the largest metropolitan region between Washington, DC, and Atlanta, enjoys one of the United States most vibrant economies. News Image The awards ceremony, which was held at the Westin Hotel in Uptown Charlotte, honors the regions best and brightest builders, developers, sales teams, new communities and their marketing initiatives. Rhein Medalls Developer of the Year award reflects their work at The Palisades their nationally-acclaimed master-planned golf community above Lake Wylie in southwest Charlotte -- as well as their work developing several other of the regions most successful residential communities, including Dominion at Highland Creek in Cabarrus County, Heydon Hall in Charlotte, MacAulay in Huntersville, and Cannon Crossing in Concord.

Eleven of the awards won by Rhein Medall were for The Palisades. At the awards ceremony, The Palisades won the Gold award for Community of the Year, and also won ten marketing awards.
