Dow Reichhold Introduces Unique PolySaf 5600 Polymer for Personal
Care Applications
New Polymer Will Enable Personal Care Products with Improved
Deodorancy and Clean After Feel
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (Business Wire EON) May 7, 2008 --
Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex today introduced PolySaf 5600 polymer, a
new ingredient for use in personal care products, including body washes,
shampoos and deodorants. Utilizing unique cationic emulsion chemistry,
this new polymer will help formulators develop extremely mild and gentle
personal care products with improved deodorancy and a clean after feel
(less build up). The company will showcase PolySaf 5600 polymer at the New
York SCC Suppliers' Day event in Edison, New Jersey, on May 14 and
15, Booth 207.

ingredients, enabling future new product development efforts.
