New Database Serves Up I.T. Sales Opportunities at Large Companies
On-Demand Product from RainKing Software Is “At
the Top of the Food Chain in I.T. Sales Data and Intelligence,”
Says Leading Tech Research Firm IDC
BETHESDA, Md. (Business Wire EON) April 7, 2008 --
RainKing Software, the nation’s premier
provider of sales and marketing data and intelligence to the technology
industry, has announced the full release of its RainKing 500 contact and
sales database.
The brand new RainKing service has already won accolades by
well-respected technology research firms IDC and EMA and many other key
industry players.
The RainKing 500 database provides contact data with direct dial phone
numbers, email addresses, and precise org charts on more than 10,000 key
I.T. decision makers at the country’s largest
500 public companies.
The RainKing service also provides deep intelligence on each decision
maker in the database explaining exactly what their function is and what
technologies and services they care about. The data is updated
rigorously with the entire database fully swept several times a year.
Access to RainKing is sold on an annual subscription basis and is
accessible over the Internet. The data is integrated with a
user-friendly interface and search engine that lets users find and
communicate with prospects and customers within seconds.
RainKing was founded in 2006 by senior executives from multi-time INC
500 company bigdough, which is the leading marketing platform in the
capital markets sales industry. Bigdough was purchased in 2004 by a
leading private equity firm.
The RainKing database is managed by a staff of 34 research analysts
based in its suburban DC Bethesda MD headquarters.
“RainKing's data and marketing service is the
first tool our sales teams have uniformly agreed upon as delivering high
quality information with an easy to use interface,”
says Andy Wright, Director Enterprise Marketing at Global Knowledge, a
large North Carolina based I.T. training company.
Besides IDC, EMA and Global Knowledge, early pre-release customers
include publicly traded enterprise software company Opnet, business
software company Managed Objects and many others.
RainKing is now developing its next product, the RainKing 1000 database,
which tracks the 1000 largest technologies users in the US, including
public and private companies as well as US subsidiaries of international
firms.
