SonicWALL Chooses ControlCase for PCI Compliance Audit

Specifically, ControlCase reviewed and documented SonicWALL’s products to enable proper configuration and implementation when installed at a customer location to ensure compliance with PCI DSS. Ultimately, SonicWALL merchant customers are able to use ControlCase’s guidance to properly configure SonicWALL products to comply with PCI and, more importantly, provide a safe and secure shopping experience.

PCI is a data security standard mandated by the major credit card companies, including Visa International, MasterCard Worldwide, Discover, and American Express. The standard requires all entities accepting credit cards for payment implement twelve specific security controls to safeguard sensitive consumer information. Companies in violation of PCI can be fined and even lose the privilege of accepting payment card transactions.
