TnT Expense Management Introduces First Customizable Mobile Reporting System

TEMViewSM Will Allow Total Transparency into Telecom and IT Data Along with Full Mobile Accessibility

SANDY HOOK, Conn. (Business Wire EON) May 8, 2007 -- TnT Expense Management, an industry recognized premier provider of telecom expense management (TEM) services, today announced an enhanced version of its reporting solution, TEMView, to better meet the individual needs of its fast-paced enterprise and mid-market clients. Building off of TnTs proprietary Telebase system, TEMView will add full customization options in a web format. In addition, the patent pending mobile report writer, TEMView MobileSM, will offer a mobile ready format for viewing reports and data from a wireless handheld devices for the first time.

65 percent of the Best in Class performers reap eight to 32 percent savings from trunk utilization analysis and usage reporting. We also found that reduced consumption from better accountability for services produces savings of 2.1 percent. This can be significant for Fortune 500 enterprises that spend an average of $182 million annually on telecom.
Were giving our clients what they have given their employees for years flexibility and mobility, said Michael Bodetti, president and CEO of TnT. TnT has always been ahead of the curve with our client-centric TEM service offerings. This new reporting tool will allow clients to access key information about their telecom and IT networks on the spot from their mobile devices and customize the information to exactly meet their needs.

TEMView will give clients the ability to generate business intelligence reports by selecting each field they need while applying filters and parameters to any field. These customized reports can be set up with a scheduler and delivered via email at any chosen frequency. TEMView reports are created by hierarchy so user access is based on administrative privilege. Report attributes can be captured for each selected user and can be as high level or as detailed as needed. TEMViews referenced filters, schedulers and hierarchal design work together to offer visibility of spend data to all branches of the company, therefore increasing accountability and encouraging responsible spending for network services.

Joe Basili, Aberdeen Group research director and lead author of The CFOs View of Telecom Cost Management, states that 65 percent of the Best in Class performers reap eight to 32 percent savings from trunk utilization analysis and usage reporting. We also found that reduced consumption from better accountability for services produces savings of 2.1 percent. This can be significant for Fortune 500 enterprises that spend an average of $182 million annually on telecom.

The mobile ready format, TEMView Mobile, will be available through any wireless device that has an internet browser allowing clients to access inventory information, spend data, user details and usage trends, as well as track procurement orders from anywhere. TEMView Mobile includes a specialized component that will appropriately display the report on any handheld device, taking into account its particular settings. TEMView Mobile will allow users to generate customized reports and offers a user friendly wizard environment for easy input and query while mobile.

In 2006, TnT reduced baseline spending by 30 percent and consolidated accounts by 32 percent for a Fortune 100 client, saving over $15 million. These savings are due, in part, to TnTs commitment to maintaining accurate inventory for all clients. Using TEMView Mobile, a technician can now deliver a new wireless device to a user, swap out SIM cards, test the device, cancel or reassign the previous device and enter all pertinent inventory information through his own wireless device directly into the Telebase inventory all before releasing the new device to the user. This will ensure inventory is always 100 percent up to date and will supply additional savings and convenience to TnT clients.

According to Gartner, the TEM market will grow at a compound annual rate of almost 40 percent from 2006 to 2010, reaching $1.5 billion in 2010. 1 As the market grows, reporting will serve as a differentiator for TEM companies, said Eric Goodness, Research Vice President, Outsourcing and IT Services for Gartner. Aggressive tracking, negotiating and extensive customized reporting options will allow TEM companies to pass on additional savings to their clients.

TEMView will be available to TnT clients at no additional cost in late Q3.
