College/University Association Elects Vector Marketing Campus Relations Manager President-Elect

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (Business Wire EON) June 3, 2008 -- Helen Brown, Campus Relations Manager for Vector Marketing Corporations northeast region was elected President-Elect by the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE). Her three-year term will begin July 1, 2008. Vector Marketing is the direct sales division for Cutco Cutlery Corporation, the largest kitchen cutlery manufacturer in North America.

These are exciting times for recent college graduates. Vector Marketing has always been dedicated to helping college students develop the business skills they will need to succeed in their future careers, and I can think of no better organization than the EACE to partner with toward this goal.
Brown, who resides in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and is a native of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, is a 1993 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received a BA in International Studies. She has been active in the EACE since 2001 and served as the organizations treasurer from 2005 until July, 2007.

Founded in 1949 and based in Olean, NY, Cutco Cutlery (http://www.cutco.com) sells its products through its sales division, Vector Marketing (http://www.campusrelations.com). Vector Marketing trains and coordinates the activities of Cutcos direct sales force, comprised predominantly of a national network of college students who sell the products through in-home personal demonstrations. All Vector Marketing sales representatives participate in a training program that teaches them a wide range of skills related to sales and entrepreneurialism. Vector Marketing trains more than 40,000 students each year.

The Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers is a regional organization that works with college career offices and corporations to promote ethical standards in the workforce and to be a resource for professional training and development. There are more than 1,000 members in EACE.

I am very excited for the opportunity to lead such a meaningful organization as the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers, said Brown. These are exciting times for recent college graduates. Vector Marketing has always been dedicated to helping college students develop the business skills they will need to succeed in their future careers, and I can think of no better organization than the EACE to partner with toward this goal.

Brown will also be receiving the EACEs Outstanding Member Award for the 2007-08 year. This prestigious recognition is awarded to members with 4-9 years of membership who have made outstanding contributions through their involvement.
